TINY PIGLETS REASONABLY PRICED.

PLEASE>>>>> Know that there is no such thing as a full grown pig that is about 8 inches tall and 20 lbs.
Teacup, nano, pocket pig, mirco mini are MADE UP NAMES FOR MARKETING.
The smallest pigs in the world are medium size dog, or 12 to 15 inches tall, they are called mini (Miniature) pigs..
If you can not handle a pig that is this size then do not get one.
Thanks for reading...

WHAT IS A MINIATURE PIG?????
These pigs are marketed as teacup, micro mini, nano, pocket pigs etc.
Very confusing, RIGHT??? Makes you just plain crazy trying to figure it out. AND oh my, the range in pricing, I've seen anything from $200. (not a mini for sure, lol) to $4000, now that's a bit greedy, dontcha think??
This is all marketing to promote the sale of a miniature pig.
That is what they are, miniature pigs, it has taken years of downsizing to now have a miniature pig, pet size which is small to medium size dog, about 12 to 15 inches tall at the mid back to the ground.
Just like other miniature animals like horses, cows, donkeys, dogs etc.
There is no pig in the world smaller, do not believe the scammers.
Our prices are very reasonable for a true miniature pig, we do however look at all offers. Now get on the piggy pages and pick yourself out a little cutie, $250 will secure your pig, we offer PayPal on the website.
also remember PIGS CAN FLY>> OINK :)

Paradise Ranch offers some of the smallest Miniature Pigs available today.
We have an "UPDATE LIST" you may join that keeps you advised of upcoming litters and new arrivals.

POTENTIAL PIGGY PARENT
THE AVERAGE LIFE SPAN OF A MINIATURE PIG IS 15 YEARS. VERY MUCH LIKE A DOG OR CAT.
ADOPTING A PIG CAN BE VERY REWARDING IF YOU HAVE DONE YOUR RESEARCH.
THE PIGLET WILL FIT IN A SHOE BOX WHEN YOU ADOPT IT, BUT REMEMBER LIKE PUPPIES AND KITTENS THEY ALL GROW UP.
SPAY/NEUTER FOR A PIG IS A MUST, SIGNIFICANTLY KEEPS A PIG SMALLER AND INSURES A NICE PET.
OUR MINIATURE PIG WILL GROW TO BE THE SIZE OF A SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE DOG, AVERAGE 12 TO 15 INCHES TALL.
PROPER DIET IS A KEY FACTOR IN KEEPING YOUR PIG IN GOOD SHAPE, (NOT OVERWEIGHT) FOR EXAMPLE, A 50 LB PIG, COULD WEIGH 150 LBS,(UNABLE TO WALK!) IF YOU OVERFEED IT. PIGS ARE PIGS, THEY WILL EAT AS MUCH AS YOU GIVE THEM. Pigs are mass muscle, they also weigh alot more than what they LOOK.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS ARE ON THE BACK OF THE MINI PIG FOOD BAG, READ THEM AND FEED ACCORDINGLY.
Adult pigs eat 2% of their body weight.

MINIATURE PIGS

It takes three months, three weeks and three days to have baby piglets. (Average 115 days). When the MAMA piglets are within a few weeks of birthing we bring them into a birthing suite where the can relax and be pampered. We view the mama pigs 24/7 under cameras. When they start labor we join them to assist if needed. We imprint the piglets at birth, giving them hands on love and hugs and they remember this for life. There are usually four to eight piglets in a litter. They are weaned about 6 weeks of age. We let Mama Pig tell us when it is time to wean. Miniature pigs live an average of 15 years.

Miniature Pigs have quickly gained popularity for a number of reasons. They make excellent pets, are hypoallerginic, are easily housebroken and bond quickly to all members of the family including your other pets. They are exceptionally neat when given the opportunity to be so. They only become dirty when kept in surroundings that prevent them from being clean. They are not finicky eaters, don't bark, have no fleas and rarely shed. The natural body smells like fresh cut straw.

Their tremendous intelligence, and amiable nature are quickly making them a strong contender as America's favorite house pet. They learn quickly, love to please and always want to snuggle.

Our miniature pigs range in color from fancy pintos( 50% black/white), blacks with minimal white, blue backs (pink body with blue/gray rump and around temple area), spotted ( several different body colors with black spots), frosted fancy pintos, and beautiful solid blacks.
Sometimes the babies have blue eyes or partial blue eyes.

Deposit will secure your PIGLET, Deposits are non refundable. ALL sales are final.

DO PIGS GET ALONG WITH OTHER ANIMALS????
PIGS ARE HERD ANIMALS, THEY WANT A FAMILY.
PIGS ACCEPT PEOPLE AND OTHER ANIMALS AS THE HERD. THEY DO NOT CARE IS ITS 2 LEGGED, 4 LEGGED OR FEATHERS, THEY JUST WANT TO HAVE A FAMILY.

Which gender is better for a pet PIGLET?

There is no "better" gender. It depends on what you want your pet to be like in the long run. A pet pig should always be SPAYED OR NEUTERED, PIGS DO NOT!!!! MAKE GOOD PETS IF THIS IS NOT DONE AT AN EARLY AGE.
Most Vets are agreeing the best age to neuter a male is between 4 and 8 weeks of age providing he is in good health.  Females can have their 1st heat cycle at 12 weeks of age. Vets vary on the best age to spay a female. They mostly agree at about 9 lbs. Females can be spayed at any age but the earlier the better for the pig.  The other advantage to spay and neuter is that it significantly keeps your piglet smaller.

A few facts and differences between the sexes.

If you are looking for a pet, an animal that will bond with you and love attention, then your piggy must be fixed. Pigs also stay smaller if fixed. INTACT, (NOT NEUTERED,) boars chomp their teeth and create frothy foam that has a foul odor. Boars will "mark" their territory with this foam and with a pungent liquid produced by their "boy parts." Boars tusks grow very thick and long. Boars do not bond well with people unless they are looking to hump someone. Boars are also prone to testicular cancer. Neutered barrows do none of this. They are calmer, bond very well with people, stay much smaller than if intact, tusks do not grow and they make wonderful pets.

Intact gilts, (gilt is a female pig that has not had a litter) and sows are almost worse. Left intact they start their heat cycle at about twelve weeks old. They cycle every 21 days and the heat cycle lasts 5 to 7 days. They go through a very strong hormonal change and yes suffer from and lash out because of it. It is very similar to PMS. During this time they will jump on anything and anyone in an effort to breed. Keep this in mind if you have small animals or children. Intact gilts and sows will also whine for hours and call to try and find a boar. The incidence of life threatening uterine tumors and infections are very high in intact females. They are also prone to mammary cancer. Another problem is that during their heat, which lasts 5 to 7 days, they "forget" or don't care about their potty training. Having a spayed gilt greatly decreases and eliminates all of these problems, keeps your piglet significantly smaller and makes for a wonderful sweet pet.

The Story of PIG
Source Unknown

A very long time ago, when the earth was still new and the Father walked among the animals teaching them the wisdom that they would later teach to humans. He gave each animal a gift. He called them all together in the Garden and to some he gave the gift of beauty, to some the gift of swiftness, to some the gift of strength, and so on until each animal had received a gift from the Father. But PIG was not there, PIG was out looking for tasty roots and did not come to the Garden until the Father was giving the last animal its gift.

The PIG cried because the Father had already given out His gifts. The Father saw PIG crying and asked what was wrong. PIG said, “I was late and now you have given away all your gifts. I will have nothing to teach the humans.” The Father gently took the PIG into His lap and rubbed his ample belly, kissed his wet snout, and told him not to cry. He said, “I have saved the best gift for you PIG.” Pig said, “But I am not beautiful, or strong, or swift, I will be despised by humans.”

The Father thought for a moment on how to explain to PIG how great his gift was. Finally, after awhile He said, “PIG, you have all of those gifts and something more within you, but because they are within you it will take a very special person who is seeking greater wisdom to find them.” PIG did not understand, but PIG trusted the Father and went back to digging for roots.

Humans came to the Garden and found all the beautiful animals with their gifts. But humans didn’t care for PIG, he was not beautiful or fleet or strong, and the humans shunned PIG and didn’t want to be around him, preferring the other animals who preened and showed off their gifts. Then after awhile one woman came to PIG and sat down where PIG was eating.

It was the first time that a human had come to be with PIG, and he stopped eating and looked at her curiously. She looked deep into his eyes and saw the gift that the Father had hidden so well. And she loved PIG for who he was and respected PIG for the wonderful gift the Father had given him to share with humans.

I can’t put into words what the gift was that the Father gave to PIG. You have to look into the eyes of PIG and find it for yourself. For each human it will be different. It will be the gift they need to find to help in their search for wisdom. Not many humans will discover the gift PIG has to offer. They will be too dazzled by the gifts the Father gave to the other animals. But for those that do, they are forever changed and never see the world in quite the same way. They are the ones that root like PIG through what is on top to find treasures and gift hidden below the surface.

They are the seekers of truth who understand that the truly great gifts of wisdom are not always on the surface, but are hidden treasures to be found only by seeing with the heart instead of the eyes.
